Abstract

The copepod Thermocyclops inversus Kiefer, 1936 is recorded for the first time in the "Pantanos de Centla" Biosphere Reserve, Tabasco, Mexico. Currently only the clanoid Arctodiaptomus dorsalis and T. inversus have been recorded in this area. This species has been known to occur in a wide variety of freshwater habitats in México, like sinkholes, caves, grottos and lakes.
